Build a House Carry Planner

Markdown planning tables for upgrade experiments—interactive UI can come later.

Carry Planner

The Carry Planner helps Build a House players turn vague frustration into a testable upgrade experiment. It is intentionally simple: tables you can follow mentally or on paper. A richer interactive widget can arrive later; the advice quality matters more than sliders.

Why plan carry at all?

Cash spent on the wrong category feels like the game is slow when the real issue is diagnosis. Planning forces one change at a time inside the collect → place → earn loop from Place a Brick.

Table 2 — Session experiment card

Copy this structure in your notes:

Date / session

Category to buyCapacity / Carry speed / Tools / Shop QoL
Menu usedUpgrades (U) / Shop (Q)
One purchase made?Yes / No
Cycles tested after2 minimum
Felt faster?Yes / No / Unsure
Next session plan

If “Felt faster?” is No, do not repeat the same category blindly—return to Upgrade priority.

Table 3 — Early / mid / late focus

EarlyCapacity, then speed (Early-game)Spreading cash everywhere
MidRebalance using Table 1Shopping every tiny cash tick

How to run a clean test

  1. Warm up with one no-spend cycle.
  2. Fill Table 2.
  3. Buy once.
  4. Run two cycles with placement focus.
  5. Mark Yes/No.
  6. Either double down next session or switch category.

What this planner will not do

  • Invent exact brick capacities or walk meters
  • Promise leaderboard ranks (Leaderboards)
  • Replace official patch notes (Updates)
  • Encourage scripts (Scripts) or fake codes

Your numbers and feelings will differ; the structure is the point.

Plan lightly, place heavily. The planner exists to protect your cash—not to become another menu you stare at.

Using the planner after patches

If carry feel changes after an update, rewrite your personal table in one sitting: bottleneck, category, proof plan. Keep Upgrade priority and Essential tips nearby so the planner stays a decision aid—not a second game.

Planner anti-patterns

Do not fill every row before playing. Capture one bottleneck, test it, then write the next row. A living planner beats a perfect empty table.
